A PAWFECT BALANCE
Become your dogs Dr Doolittle
Have you ever looked at your dog and said "I'd love to know what you're thinking"?
Whilst I don't have the ability to decode exactly what your pooch is dreaming about, or even thinking about as he looks out of the window, I can teach you to pick up on the cues your dog is giving you, letting you know how they are feeling. This should play a huge part in how you react, or what you ask your dog to do next.
Whether you are aware of it or not, our canine counterparts are communicating with us constantly. Unfortunately our two species communicate in completely different ways, meaning that we have to learn another language in order to unlock the "mysteries" of a dogs mind.
Whilst I can commit to spending time with you and your furry friend and doing all I can to help you, the hard work will really start when I leave. It is also really important to know that picking up on your canines cues takes a lot of TIME, PRACTICE & PATIENCE.
Whether your dog is shredding the post, chewing the skirting boards, or pulling on the leash, we can work on it together. The initial consultation process is very thorough, this ensures I get a clear understanding of the issues we need to work on and the overall family environment.
First we will have a one on one consultation either over the phone or via skype so I can gain a brief understanding of what we need to work on.
Second I will conduct a home visit. This is to see how the family unit operates. Dogs can have very different personality traits inside and outside of the home.
COVID-19 RESTRICTION - Due to the coronavirus pandemic the home visit may be conducted in the garden if there is sufficient space for social distancing or virtually.
Thirdly and finally we will have a walk together.
After the above, I will come up with a programme for you to work on with your family.
Whilst you are working your programme, you will have access to ask me questions, seek help and advice or even just to vent your frustrations. (I won't lie... You will have them!)
